Edentate (Xenarthra, Tubulidentata and Pholidota) Reproductions

The group called Edentates is not a natural, monophyletic group; we use it here as a matter of convenience and because of its historical interest. The Xenarthra are the sloths, armadillos and anteaters; the Tubulidentata is represented by a single species, the Aardvark, while the Pholidota are the Scaly Anteaters of the Old World.

In addition to the living species, we offer a few fossil Xenarthrans as well.
